![]() I would have thought its a normal limitation of WiFi connectivity, however when I stream the exact same content from my iPhone, there is no such latency whatsoever. There is quite a bit of latency which isnt fixed with any restarts or reboots of my PC, Speaker, or Router. I think Sonos should build inputs in to all of their speakers and eliminate that as a barrier to entry thus commiting the Connect product solely to those looking to integrate an existing speaker system with their other Sonos gear or with multiple other Connects feeding into an integrated whole-home audio system. I have a Sonos one and use Airplay to stream all my audio from Youtube and what have you. So if customers are looking across a range of current whole-home connected audio systems, I could see how they might make an incorrect assumption since the competition all have such a capability. Even other connected speakers that compete directly with Sonos like the Bose and Denon stuff have analog inputs on pretty much their whole lineup. People see a self-powered speaker and assume it can play anything you throw at it. ![]() The prevalence of such beliefs/assumptions is indicative of just that.
